Busan Gupo Library Hosts Family Reading Camp 'Book Picnic in the Forest'
Busan City Gupo Library will hold a family reading camp, "A Book Picnic in the Forest," for families with children in grades 3 to 4 of elementary school on the 24th from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
"A Book Picnic in the Forest" is a program that uses the space of the "library" and the medium of "books" to engage families in various experiential activities together. It is operated annually at Gupo Library to strengthen bonds and intimacy among family members.
Various programs will be offered, including "Forest Healing Mini Garden," where families learn about plant ecology and companion plants and collaboratively create a mini garden, and "Round Rice Balls," where participants read a fairy tale and make the foods featured in the story themselves.
Families wishing to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the Gupo Library website from the 7th to the 19th. The number of participants is limited to 25 families with children in grades 3 to 4 of elementary school. For more details, please contact the Children's Room.
