Samsung Electro-Mechanics is showing strong performance following news that it will supply camera modules to a U.S. automobile company presumed to be Tesla.
As of 10:27 AM on the 5th, Samsung Electro-Mechanics is trading at 143,900 KRW, up 2.35% compared to the previous close.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced the day before that "a supply contract for camera modules has been signed with a U.S. automobile company, but the supply quantity and amount have not been determined."
