LGU+ 'Why Not Boosters' Surpass 14 Million Cumulative Views
LG Uplus announced on the 4th that ‘Why Not Boosters’ Season 1 has concluded its activities after surpassing 14 million cumulative content views.
Why Not Boosters is an innovative customer experience project that provided creators with opportunities to experience LG Uplus’s products and services and supported them in growing their channel power. LG Uplus collaborated with Meta Korea for 100 days starting in May to support content production by 120 creators.

In the previous Why Not Boosters Season 1, the 660 pieces of content uploaded by creators surpassed 14 million cumulative views. Additionally, during the activity period, the average number of followers of the growing creators increased by an average of 139% compared to before, and the creator with the highest growth saw an increase of 387%.
LG Uplus assigned creators missions to produce content themed around ▲U+tv ▲Yudok ▲U+ Safe Roaming, Podong, U+ Week, Youth ▲Why Not ▲Muneo Arcade. At the same time, to help creators develop their content production capabilities, LG Uplus provided online and offline mentoring opportunities from content experts such as popular creators Jinyongjin and No Eunsol, and Studio X+U PD An Jihoon.
Along with this, LG Uplus offered benefits so that creators could directly use its services during the mission period, and collaborated with Legoland Korea to provide an experience opportunity at Legoland Resort in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
On the 2nd, LG Uplus held a networking party and an awards ceremony for the top creators who participated in Season 1 at its Yongsan headquarters in Seoul. Creators attending the event shared their impressions, saying things like, “I receive many compliments from people around me that my content has improved. It’s thanks to the mentors,” “The content I uploaded yesterday surpassed 570,000 views. It feels like a dream,” and “I was worried if I would be recognized, but I gained confidence that I can do it,” LG Uplus reported.
The three creators finally selected as outstanding creators signed exclusive contracts with LG Uplus and will promote other customer experience innovation activities. Additionally, LG Uplus plans to recruit participants for Season 2 later this month, aiming to surpass the achievements of Why Not Boosters Season 1.
