Silla University Startup Club Wins Top Prize and More at Southeast Region Competition
The startup club teams of the LINC3.0 Project Group at Silla University received the Grand Prize in the startup item category and the Excellence Award in the startup marketing category at the ‘2023 Southeastern Region LINC3.0 Startup Nomad Camp & Idea Competition’.
The Silla University LINC3.0 Project Group startup clubs, ‘Bbangjibui Husoen’ team and ‘Kkiwo’ team, participated in the ‘2023 Southeastern Region LINC3.0 Startup Nomad Camp & Idea Competition’ held in Fukuoka, Japan from August 24 to 27, achieving excellent results.
This competition, hosted by the Southeastern Region LINC3.0 Project Group Council to foster prospective entrepreneurs and strengthen startups, evaluated outstanding startup items and the potential for global market entry from participating university startup clubs.
The ‘Bbangjibui Husoen’ team from Silla University LINC3.0 Project Group (students Bang Sanghoon, Lee Changmin, Jeon Hyunmin from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Lee Donghee, Lee Jinseong from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering) devised the ICT/FCT residual current blocking system ‘Shortless’ to prevent work delays and won the Grand Prize (Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center Director’s Award).
They were praised for clearly identifying the cause of the relay board short circuit phenomenon and developing a prototype to solve the problem.
The ‘Kkiwo’ team (students Kang Ranhee, Kim Jisoo, Moon Taeho, Lee Sojung, and Lee Yujeong from the Department of Jewelry Design) received the Excellence Award (Southeastern Region LINC3.0 Project Group Council Chairman’s Award) for their marketing strategy established through a global survey on ‘Kkiara,’ an accessory attached to smartwatch straps.
