Pukyong National University Holds Orientation for Foreign Freshmen in Second Semester
On the afternoon of the 31st of last month, Pukyong National University held the 2023 second semester orientation for new international students at the university theater.
This semester, 560 new international students from 57 countries including China, Japan, Myanmar, and Vietnam enrolled at Pukyong National University. Starting with this orientation, they will undertake various programs such as graduate school (198 students), undergraduate (61 students), exchange students (91 students), and language training (210 students).
The International Exchange Headquarters at Pukyong National University conducted programs during the orientation including academic information and introduction to support programs for international students, performances by the Pungmul and Taekwondo clubs, sexual violence prevention education, and campus tours.

As of April this year, Pukyong National University has 1,565 international students from 68 countries enrolled in undergraduate, master's, doctoral, integrated master's and doctoral programs, exchange student programs, and language training courses.
