Gallery Stair Hosts 'Tea Time' Exhibition on Climate Crisis and Environment
The exhibition "TEA time," themed around the climate crisis and the environment, will open on the 2nd at Gallery Stair in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
TEA is an environmental organization established in New York, USA. The name is formed by combining the first letters of the English words Technology, Environment, and Art. It was founded by renowned American environmental artist Alan Sonfist, MIT professor and recipient of the 2006 Gwangju Biennale Best International Artist Award Gediminas Urbonas, and Jay Lu, who served as the Asia representative of Artnet, the largest art media in the United States.
TEA actively conducts various art exhibitions and performance events that convey messages of environment, coexistence, sharing, and communication through art. This exhibition is also organized as part of that effort. Works by domestic artists such as Yoon Jongju and Sung Hye, as well as various international artists including Alan Sonfist, Xin Song, and Michael Ricigliano, will be showcased.
This TEA time exhibition will be held at Gallery Stair for two weeks and then move to Museum Wave in Seongbuk-dong from the 21st for a follow-up exhibition.
