Ulsan Fire Headquarters, 24th Ulsan 119 Firefighting Children's Song Contest
21 Teams Participate, Grand Prize Winner Advances to National Competition
The Ulsan Fire Headquarters will hold the 24th Ulsan 119 Fire Song Contest on the 1st at 2 p.m. in the public hall of KBS Ulsan Broadcasting Station.
The 119 Fire Song Contest, celebrating its 24th year this year, is held annually to provide children with an opportunity to sing about dreams and hope through children's songs and to learn about safety while enjoying it.
This year, 21 teams (16 kindergarten teams and 5 elementary school teams) will compete to showcase their skills.
The grand prize-winning team from the Ulsan contest will represent Ulsan City at the 24th National 119 Fire Song Contest held in Songdo, Incheon, on September 20-21.

At last year's 23rd Ulsan 119 Fire Song Contest held at Ulsan City Hall, Ye-eun Kindergarten won the grand prize in the kindergarten division, and Gyeokdong Elementary School won the grand prize in the elementary division. They went on to compete in the national contest, where the kindergarten division received the Excellence Award and the elementary division received the Silver Award.
