Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces 6,792 Passers of Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exams on the 1st
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced the passers of the 2nd Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exams of this year on the 1st.
In the 2nd exam held on the 10th of last month, 6,792 out of 7,587 applicants passed, recording a pass rate of 89.52%. This is an increase of 2.06 percentage points compared to the 87.46% pass rate of the 1st exam.
For the elementary level, 549 out of 561 applicants passed, achieving a pass rate of 97.86%. For the middle school level, 1,440 out of 1,627 applicants passed, with a pass rate of 88.51%. For the high school level, 4,803 out of 5,399 applicants passed, recording a pass rate of 88.96%.
The number of perfect scorers in all subjects was 16 for elementary, 29 for middle, and 77 for high school levels.
The oldest passers were ▲ elementary level: 87 years old (born in 1935), ▲ middle level: 78 years old (born in 1944), ▲ high school level: 85 years old (born in 1937). The youngest passers were ▲ elementary level: 11 years old (born in 2012), ▲ middle level: 11 years old (born in 2011), ▲ high school level: 12 years old (born in 2010).

Equivalency exam certificates and score reports can be issued online after identity verification on Government24, or by visiting the nearest elementary, middle, or high school administrative office or the Education Support Office.
