A 30-Year-Old Exam Candidate Caught Stealing Public Official Appointment Documents at Gyeongnam Provincial Government Office Late at Night
A man who secretly entered the Gyeongnam Provincial Government Office late at night and stole documents was arrested by the police.
According to the Changwon Jungbu Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 31st, Mr. A, in his 30s, is suspected of breaking into an office of a department in the Gyeongnam Provincial Government Office around 12:45 a.m. on the 30th and stealing official documents stored in a cabinet.
Since Mr. A could not enter through the security entrance of the building, it is known that he used a ladder to climb the exterior wall and enter the building.

The police received a report from a provincial government employee at around 6:30 p.m. that day and mobilized a large number of detectives, arresting Mr. A in front of his residence at 11:55 p.m. the same night.
In the trunk of Mr. A’s car, the stolen documents and a ladder believed to have been used in the crime were found.
The police plan to investigate Mr. A on the morning of the 1st to determine the exact motive for the crime.
Earlier, Gyeongnam Province announced a contract employee appointment exam on July 5th to recruit one local administrative officer equivalent to grade 6 for the Serious Accident Prevention Division and the Traffic Policy Division.
