World Cup Park, Recruiting Organizations to Operate 'Sopung Wedding'
At Least 3 Years of Relevant Experience Required
The Seoul Western Park Leisure Center announced on the 31st that it is recruiting partner organizations to operate the small-scale eco-friendly wedding ceremony called 'Sopung Wedding' within World Cup Park next year.
'Sopung Wedding' is a small-scale wedding ceremony that allows the bride and groom to have a personalized wedding in a beautiful outdoor park, reducing costs compared to traditional ceremonies. It is also an eco-friendly wedding that improves the reception culture by replacing the conventional heated soup-based buffet with non-heated foods such as lunch boxes or sandwiches, minimizing environmental pollution.
The average cost of last year's Sopung Wedding (including venue rental, studio photography, dress, makeup, flowers, cake, pyebaek, and reception meal) was about 10 million KRW (average 127 guests), and there were cases where donations for tree planting were made instead of flower wreaths.
Organizations that understand the purpose of 'Sopung Wedding,' wish to participate in improving wedding culture, and have more than three years of experience related to eco-weddings can apply to operate the program. The application period is from the 6th to the 11th of next month, and applications along with required documents can be submitted by visiting the Western Park Leisure Center's Park Leisure Division in person or via email. The results will be announced on the 15th of next month after screening.
