Damyang-gun Launches Price Stabilization Campaign in Changpyeong Traditional Temporary Market Area
Conducting Environmental Cleanup Activities Together with Merchants and Local Residents
On the 30th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced that it recently conducted a local price stabilization campaign with about 30 merchants and residents in the area of the Changpyeong traditional temporary market.
The campaign was held to encourage traditional market merchants to comply with price and origin labeling regulations and to urge the eradication of overcharging, aiming to establish a fair commercial transaction order.
In addition, the merchants, including the president of the Changpyeong Market Merchants Association, pledged to actively cooperate in creating a clean market by directly engaging in environmental cleanup activities such as picking up trash in the temporary market.
In particular, they visited the Goseo Grape Festival site and requested merchants at the event venue to stop overcharging, making efforts to stabilize local prices.
