The Cool Korea Challenge is a campaign encouraging people to work in cool and simple summer attire to lower body heat and save cooling energy. Leaders from various sectors are leading by example to promote nationwide participation in energy saving.
Vice President Jang joined the campaign after being nominated by Ahn Man-sik, Chairman of Seohyun Partners. Along with executives and employees, he promoted the importance of energy saving by dressing lightly and actively shared photos certifying their participation in the campaign on Kyowon Group's official social media channels. He recommended Song Jae-jun, CEO of Crit Ventures, as the next participant in the relay.
Since 2018, Kyowon Group has encouraged free casual wear, including 'Office Cool Biz Look.' Additionally, the company maintains a corporate culture that enables employees to voluntarily engage in energy saving and environmental protection activities, such as keeping indoor temperatures at 26℃ during summer, reducing unnecessary printing, activating PC power-saving modes, and promoting the use of reusable tumblers.
