All Subjects Applied for Career Choice in Student Record-Based Screening
Sejong University will select 56.8% of its total admission quota through early admission. In this early admission, advanced departments will be newly established, and the number of career elective subjects reflected in the student record screening will be expanded.
Sejong University will admit 1,614 students through early admission this year. Among them, 393 will be selected through the student record screening, 775 through the comprehensive student record screening, 340 through the essay excellence screening, and 106 through the practical skills and achievements screening.
This early admission is characterized by the establishment of advanced departments such as the Department of Artificial Intelligence Data Science, Department of AI Robotics, and the Intelligent Drone Convergence Major in the Department of Aerospace Drone Engineering. Each department will select students through student record screening, comprehensive student record screening, and essay excellence screening. Among these, the regional balance and essay excellence screening apply minimum CSAT score requirements.
A total of 350 students will be selected through the regional balance screening in the student record screening. As in the previous year, 100% of the student record grades will be reflected, and the minimum CSAT score requirements are a total grade of 6 or less for two humanities subjects and a total grade of 7 or less for two natural science subjects. When reflecting the student record, the number of career elective subjects considered has been expanded from the top three subjects in the reflected subjects to all subjects in the reflected subjects starting this year.
The special screening for Air Force pilot officer recruitment under the Aviation Systems Engineering Special Screening will select 20 students through early admission. The first stage reflects 100% of the student record grades, and the second stage is conducted by the Air Force Headquarters based on the first stage results.
The comprehensive student record screening will select a total of 775 students this year, including Sejong Creative Talent (Interview Type) (350), Sejong Creative Talent (Document Type) (145), Opportunity Equalization (98), Social Contribution and Consideration (30), West Sea 5 Islands Students (3), Special Screening for Graduates of Specialized High Schools Currently Employed (117), and Defense Systems Engineering Special Screening (32). In addition, the Defense Systems Screening for Navy Second Lieutenant recruitment will be selected through the comprehensive student record screening starting this year.

The essay excellence screening reflects 30% of the student record and 70% of the essay test scores, with minimum CSAT score requirements of a total grade of 5 or less for two humanities subjects and a total grade of 6 or less for two natural science subjects. The essay test for humanities will be held on November 25, and for natural sciences on November 26, the week following the CSAT.
