Lee Sun-ok, CEO of Ilsung Enterprise Co., Ltd., and Kim Young-guk, CEO of Ire Livestock Medicine Co., Ltd., each donated 5 million won to the Hometown Love Donation Fund in Naju City, Jeollanam-do.

According to the city on the 29th, Ilsung Enterprise Co., Ltd. is a local company that has been producing concrete block products in Bannam-myeon since 1991, and has been leading the spread of a beautiful donation culture by providing samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) annually for the elderly in the region.

In particular, CEO Lee Sun-ok has volunteered as a promotional committee member for the Hometown Love Donation and plans to jointly carry out promotional activities for Naju City's Hometown Love Donation System.

Kim Young-guk, CEO of Ire Livestock Medicine Co., Ltd., sets aside a certain percentage of the company's profits every year for sharing culture. CEO Kim participates in the Hometown Love Donation in Naju City, while his wife participates in Haenam County, serving as a role model.

Mayor Yoon Byung-tae said, "We sincerely thank you for your warm hearts," and added, "We will seek various ways to utilize the funds so that the great intentions of both donors can be used in more valuable and meaningful ways."

Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation System is a program where individuals (donors) who donate a certain amount to regions other than their registered address receive tax deduction benefits, and the recipient local governments provide thank-you gifts.

The city has prepared 30 thank-you gifts, including fermented skate, Naju beef soup, National Forest Experience Center tickets, and Naju rice, and plans to further expand the selection of thank-you gifts through a public recruitment next month.
