Kyobo Securities Delivers Donation from 'Dreami Eco Challenge' to Environmental Foundation
Kyobo Securities announced on the 29th that it has donated 10 million KRW raised through the eco-friendly campaign 'Dreami Eco Challenge' to the Environmental Foundation.
This donation was collected through the Dreami Eco Challenge, which took place over approximately three months starting in May. As part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management efforts, the Dreami Eco Challenge saw participation from about 500 employees and achieved its goal of 10 million points ahead of schedule by the end of last month. The donated funds will be used to create nectar forests aimed at restoring the rapidly declining bee population due to recent abnormal climate phenomena.
Lee Seok-ki, CEO of Kyobo Securities, said, "We hope this donation will contribute even a little to protecting habitats for flora and fauna and preserving biodiversity," adding, "We will continue to strive to create a sustainable future through various eco-friendly programs."
