Goheung-gun Launches County Character Goods
Celebrating the Success of Nuriho 3rd Launch
Limited Offline Shop Sales at 12 Korail Stations
Gohung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced that it will begin limited sales of special 'character goods' developed in collaboration with Korea Railroad Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters (KORAIL) from the 28th to commemorate the success of the 'Nuriho 3rd Launch' in May.
The newly released 'character goods (KTX Station Master Wol-i keyring)' feature 'Wol-i,' one of Gohung-gun's astronaut characters.
The concept is a fictional first infinite challenge story where Wol-i, who challenged to become the KTX Station Master, became the first character astronaut station master through this year's Nuriho launch.
Station Master 'Wol-i' dressed in a KTX uniform is characterized by LED lights representing starlight and darkness of space, a shy but curious cute face, and a keyring attached to a bag that travels nationwide together anywhere.
This limited edition goods was jointly planned by Gohung-gun and KORAIL, and sales are handled by KORAIL Distribution (Honam Headquarters).
To commemorate the year of the 'Nuriho 3rd Launch Success,' a limited quantity will be sold, and on-site purchases are available at Storyway convenience stores in 12 stations: ▲Gwangju Songjeong Station ▲Gwangju Station ▲Naju Station ▲Mokpo Station ▲Suncheon Station ▲Yeosu Expo Station ▲Yeocheon Station ▲Iksan Station (2 units) ▲Jeonju Station ▲Namwon Station ▲Jeongeup Station.
A county official said, "We produced goods using the character to uniquely promote Gohung-gun as the Republic of Korea's 'aerospace hub city.' The county has been achieving successive results, including being designated as an aerospace industry cluster in December last year, designated as a national industrial complex for space launch vehicles in March, and the success of the Nuriho 3rd launch in May. We will continue to provide new experiences of Gohung-gun's aerospace brand through collaborative marketing with progressive brands."
