36 Apartment Community Activists Trained in Seo-gu, Gwangju
Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 24th that it has produced 36 apartment community activists through the 'Seo-gu Village Learning University Apartment School.'
This training course, aimed at revitalizing apartment communities with trust and communication among neighbors, was conducted from last month with a total of six expert lectures, including understanding apartment communities and establishing their values, activity workshops, alternatives for neighbor disputes to strengthen apartment communities, and cases of apartment community management harmonizing with neighbors.
On the 23rd, the Seogu Village Learning University Apartment School graduation ceremony was held at the Creative Nongsonggol Community Center.

Before the completion ceremony on the 23rd, Seo-gu invited Lee Chunhee, former head of the Seoul Eunpyeong-gu Village Community Support Center, as a lecturer to give a special lecture on the components and activation plans for revitalizing multi-family housing under the theme 'Finding Hope in Apartments,' and also conducted a 'Making Our Apartment Wish Tree Workshop.'
Graduates of the Village University Apartment School said, "We will actively apply the vivid experiences and coaching of experts in various fields and senior apartment activists to our field activities."
Seo-gu plans to select outstanding trainees and provide opportunities to strengthen basic apartment activity capabilities, such as study tours of advanced domestic apartment community cases, and will form and operate a professional mentoring group for the future activation of apartment communities.
A representative of the Seo-gu Village Community Support Center said, "We hope this training will be an opportunity for apartment activists to create a new paradigm of apartment culture built on communication and harmony."
