Gyeonggawon, Practical Training on Advanced Biopharmaceutical Development and Analytical Techniques
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will hold the 'Advanced Biopharmaceutical Development and Analytical Technology Workshop Practical Training' on September 1 at the Gyeonggi Center Bio Center in Yeongtong, Suwon, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of pharmaceutical workers and researchers.
This project involves six domestic public specialized analysis institutions, including the Gyeonggi Center Bio Center, Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, and Korea Basic Science Institute, providing various specialized training programs.
The Gyeonggi Center plans to offer practical analytical techniques and related information on advanced biopharmaceutical development and characterization analysis through 'Quality Analysis Practice of Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Using Mass Spectrometry.'
The main training includes ▲ Principles of MALDI-TOF MS analysis and its application in Pharm & Biopharm ▲ Theory of microbial identification using MALDI BioTyper ▲ MS analysis using Intact Protein and MS/MS using Peptides ▲ Practical training on microbial identification using Bacteria and Yeast libraries.

Lee Jong-seok, Head of the Bio Industry Division at the Gyeonggi Center, stated, "We hope this specialized training will help strengthen the expertise of professionals in the advanced biopharmaceutical field," adding, "The Bio Center will continue to lead efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the local bio industry based on its advanced infrastructure and technological capabilities."
