Gu Ja-cheon, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam, received a plaque of appreciation from the Gyeongnam Veterans Organizations Council.
The plaque was presented on the afternoon of the 18th at 4 PM when Ko Yong-dae, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Veterans Organizations Council, along with six branch heads of veterans organizations, visited the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry to express their gratitude for the ‘2023 Donation Relay’ held in June.

View original imageThe ‘2023 Donation Relay’ was the first practical project initiated by the Social Contribution Council of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, launched this year. It was a campaign to raise funds in collaboration with local companies during the Month of Patriots and Veterans in June, aimed at supporting the welfare of veterans’ families.
Through this campaign, the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry raised 122.5 million KRW over the course of June, which was then delivered to low-income veterans’ families in the region via the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea.
