Shinsegae L&B will launch a new product, ‘BooBoo Highball,’ at the pork belly specialty franchise Hanam Dwaeji Jip starting from the 21st.
BooBoo Highball is a product developed by OENON, a famous Japanese liquor manufacturer, targeting consumers who enjoy pork dishes. To emphasize that it is a highball that harmonizes well with pork, the product name uses the Japanese onomatopoeia for a pig’s oink, ‘BuuBuu (ブ?ブ?).’
The product’s key feature is its high alcohol content. While OENON’s existing highball products have an average alcohol content of 5-7%, BooBoo Highball has 8%, offering a richer flavor. Additionally, it maximizes carbonation and refreshment, making it ideal to enjoy with greasy meat dishes. It blends Scottish grain whiskey to provide a smooth taste and aroma. To prevent taste variations caused by staff preparation, it is released as a canned RTD (Ready-to-Drink) highball, ensuring a consistent flavor for all consumers.
