A man in his 50s who wielded a weapon at passengers on Seoul Subway Line 2 train was arrested by the police.

According to the police on the 19th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul caught a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, at the scene on suspicion of injuring two people with a weapon.
Mr. A is accused of swinging a weapon at two men in their 20s inside a Seoul Subway Line 2 train around 12:30 PM that day, causing injuries. The police responded to a report from passengers and arrested the man on the spot at Hapjeong Station.
The two injured men sustained minor injuries such as abrasions on their faces. One was transported to a hospital, and the other received treatment at the scene.
