According to Yonhap News on the 18th, a robbery occurred at a credit union branch in Daejeon Metropolitan City, and the police are currently pursuing the suspect.
At around 12:30 PM that day, a man wearing a helmet barged into a credit union in Gwanjeo-dong, Seo-gu. The man threatened bank employees by spraying fire extinguisher powder, stole 39 million won in cash, and fled on a white motorcycle.
There were only two employees in the bank during lunchtime. While one went to the restroom, the suspect threatened the female employee at the counter to put the cash into a bag. No customers were present in the bank, and no casualties have been reported.
