On the 16th, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the perceived temperature will rise up to 33 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country tomorrow, making it very hot. The morning low temperatures will range from 21 to 25 degrees, and the daytime highs will be between 26 and 32 degrees.
For the time being, tropical nights may occur mainly in urban areas, the West Coast, the South Coast, and Jeju Island, so it is important to take care of your health.
From tomorrow afternoon to evening, showers of 5 to 40 mm are expected in the inland northern Gyeonggi region, northern inland Gangwon, southern mountain areas, Chungcheong region, Jeonnam region, eastern Jeonbuk, and Jeju Island. The expected rainfall in Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and inland Gyeongnam areas is 5 to 60 mm.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' nationwide due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
For the time being, swells will be flowing into the East Coast and the southern coast of Gyeongnam, causing high waves to overflow onto rocky shores, breakwaters, and some coastal roads.
Due to high tide, very high waves are expected in the East Sea and the waters off Busan, so it is advised to refrain from fishing, swimming, and other coastal activities.
The high tide times are between 4 and 5 a.m. and 3 and 4 p.m. for the East Coast, and between 9 and 10 p.m. for the southern coast of Gyeongnam.
A storm warning is in effect for the East Sea, with very strong winds blowing at 8 to 16 meters per second and high waves expected in the central East Sea offshore and northern southern East Sea offshore until the morning.
