Pukyong National University Hosts Fisheries Training Program with KOICA and Thailand International Cooperation Agency
Pukyong National University held a training course on ‘KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) - TICA (Thailand International Cooperation Agency) Fishery Resource Assessment Capacity Building.’
The opening ceremony for this two-week training course took place on the 14th at the 5th-floor lecture room of the Changui Building at Pukyong National University, with 15 officials from the Fisheries Department of the Thai Ministry of Agriculture Cooperation participating.
Pukyong National University operated this course mainly through the International Fisheries Science Cooperation Program at the Graduate School of Global Fisheries, sharing Korea’s development experience in fishery resource assessment and management to help strengthen Thailand’s fishery resource management capabilities.
This course was prepared according to the 4th implementation plan (2023?2025) signed last month by KOICA and TICA, who have established development cooperation partnership agreements since 2014 and have been creating implementation plans with cooperative projects every three years.
