Following Subway Line 5, Line 9 Also Renamed to ‘Shinhan Investment Securities Station’
Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 16th that it has been awarded the final bid for the paid naming rights of Yeouido Station conducted by Seoul Metro Line 9 Co., Ltd., following Subway Line 5.
Starting from the 23rd, 'Shinhan Investment Corp.' will be added next to or inside parentheses at Yeouido Station sequentially. On all route maps, guide signs, and vehicle announcements for both Line 5 and Line 9 at Yeouido Station, the name Shinhan Investment Corp. Station will be used together.
Yeouido Station holds symbolic significance as a securities and financial hub, with 14 securities firms located near the station. According to Seoul Metropolitan Government public data on subway station boarding and alighting statistics, more than 3 million people use the station monthly, showing a continuous upward trend.
