"I Wrote the Gangnam Station Sexual Assault Threat Post"... High School Student Turns Himself In
A teenage male high school student turned himself in to the police after a post threatening to sexually assault a female student at an elementary school near Gangnam Station in Seoul was uploaded to an online community.
According to the Guro Police Station in Seoul on the 15th, the student visited a police box in Guro-gu in the afternoon and claimed that he wrote the 'sexual assault threat post.'
Earlier that day, at around 1:30 PM, a post stating the intent to target girls aged 8 to 13 at an elementary school near Gangnam Station was uploaded to the online community DC Inside, prompting a police investigation.
