Watcha Adds Profile Lock and Age Rating Settings Features
Enhancement of Privacy and Youth Child Protection Features
On the 14th, Watcha announced that it has enhanced privacy features for families and protection for adolescent children by adding profile locks and age rating settings. Account users can now set individual lock passwords, and the main profile user who has been authenticated can set content age ratings for each profile. This update reduces the possibility of adolescent children accessing adult content through their parents' profiles and blocks exposure to viewing history and other content lists. Watcha stated, "Content can be displayed according to the child's age group, from infants to children and adolescents," and added, "We expect this to lead to the formation of a healthy and constructive content viewing culture among adolescent children."
