"Kim Eun-kyung's Innovation Committee Announcement Acts as a Prison Sentence"
Kim Jae-won, Supreme Council Member of the People Power Party, predicted in an interview with KBS Radio's 'Choi Kyung-young's Strong Current Affairs' on the 11th that the innovation plan proposed by Kim Eun-kyung, Innovation Committee Chair of the Democratic Party, would ironically put Lee Jae-myung, the party leader, in a difficult position.
Supreme Council Member Kim said, "Another woman put forward an innovation plan, making many Democratic Party lawmakers think that they would benefit more in nominations if Lee Jae-myung disappeared," referring to Kim Eun-kyung, the Innovation Committee Chair.
Kim Eun-kyung announced an innovation plan that weakens the delegate system and strengthens the authority of party members, which could provoke resentment among incumbent lawmakers. Supreme Council Member Kim argued that if Democratic Party lawmakers believe that Lee Jae-myung must disappear (be detained) to help their nominations, they might support his detention.

Anticipating Lee Jae-myung’s judicial processing, Supreme Council Member Kim left a lingering remark, saying, "The person who would probably be happiest is perhaps a senior lawmaker from Daejeon, though I don’t know for sure." The senior lawmaker from Daejeon mentioned by Supreme Council Member Kim is believed to be Lee Sang-min, a Democratic Party lawmaker.
