As a result of testing two types of Samwha Paint's lime paint products (Lime R and Lasato) at the Korea Conformity Laboratories, both products met the fire resistance and gas toxicity test standards under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "Quality Recognition and Management Standards for Building Materials."
By securing fire safety through the non-combustibility of its lime paint products, Samwha Paint plans to target the premium interior market with Ard's lime paint, which can replace wallpapers and sheets, the main indoor finishing materials. Unlike wallpapers that typically repeat the same pattern, lime paint offers the advantage of allowing consumers to create various patterns and colors using different tools.
Samwha Paint is the official importer supplying the lime paint of Ard Raccanello, an Italian premium paint company. Ard's paint is known for its excellent quality, having been used in famous Italian architectural landmarks such as Milan Cathedral.
Lime paint can create a sophisticated and unique indoor space with the distinctive texture, gloss, and patterns characteristic of marble. It can smoothly express large surfaces and curved areas, making it relatively advantageous in terms of material and construction cost savings compared to marble.
