Choi Won-hyuk, CEO of LX Pantos, Joins the 'Single-Use Plastics Zero Challenge'
Choi Won-hyuk, CEO of LX Pantos, joined the campaign to reduce single-use items in daily life, the "Single-Use Items Zero Challenge," the company announced on the 10th. This campaign was initiated earlier this year in February by Han Hwa-jin, Minister of Environment. CEO Choi participated after being nominated by Ryu Kyung-pyo, Chairman of Hanjin KAL, and recommended Han Myung-ho, CEO of LX Hausys, and Yoo Jo-hyuk, CEO of SM Line, as the next participants. The company uses reusable cups instead of paper cups and eco-friendly shared umbrellas made from recycled materials. They have also introduced eco-friendly recycled packaging materials and components in their logistics centers and fostered a paperless meeting and reporting culture, practicing ways to reduce the use of single-use items.
