University Student Who Killed Mother After Being Scolded for Coming Home Late Sent to Prosecution in Custody: "I'm Sorry"
A university student who killed his mother with a weapon after being scolded for coming home late from drinking was handed over to the prosecution.
On the morning of the 10th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul sent Lee Mo (19, male), who is accused of killing a direct ascendant, into custody and prosecution. At around 7:50 a.m. that day, before getting into the transport vehicle, Lee appeared in front of the Yeongdeungpo Police Station and responded to reporters' questions such as "Do you remember the incident?" and "Do you remember wielding the weapon?" by saying, "I'm sorry."
Lee is accused of killing his mother, Ms. A, in her 50s, with a weapon at an apartment in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, at 2:40 a.m. on the 3rd. It was investigated that he committed the crime out of anger after Ms. A scolded him for coming home late after drinking.
