"Resolve Job Insecurity"... Kakao Community Union's 2nd Rally on the 17th
The Kakao Branch of the National Chemical Fiber Food Industry Labor Union announced on the 9th that it will hold the '2nd Kakao Community Action for Condemning Irresponsible Management and Resolving Employment Instability, Crew March' rally on the 17th, with participation from Kakao community members.
The union will start the rally at Pangyo Station and proceed with a march to Kakao Ajit, Kakao Entertainment, XL Games, and Kakao Enterprise. The reason for holding the 2nd rally is that the management has taken no action since the 1st rally. The union held the 1st rally on the 26th, demanding an apology and responsible management for the greedy management focused solely on the executives' profits. Despite the spread of employment instability due to voluntary resignations, early retirements, and company splits occurring in various community corporations, the management is unilaterally enforcing restructuring without any dialogue or apology.
After the 1st rally, the Crew Union delivered a protest letter to founder Kim Beom-su and plans to demand an audit of the former management of Kakao Enterprise from the management after the 2nd rally.
