[Featured Stock] Crystal Shinsojae, Depletion of Advanced Material Natural Mica... World's Largest Synthetic Mica Production Base
Crystal New Materials is showing strong performance. The news that synthetic mica has been listed in China's Industrial Basic Innovation Development Catalogue appears to be influencing the stock price.
At 10:07 AM on the 9th, Crystal New Materials was trading at 2,860 KRW, up 8.95% from the previous day.
According to Crystal New Materials, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the National Manufacturing Power Construction Strategy Advisory Committee guided, and the National Industrial Basic Expert Committee compiled and recently officially announced the Industrial Basic Innovation Development Catalogue.
Among 21 core fields, Crystal New Materials' synthetic mica was included in the catalogue as a product and technology related to building materials. The listed products and technologies play a key role in the development of China's industrial foundation and hold significant importance.
Synthetic mica is an artificial mica made by melting and crystallizing five types of mineral raw materials, and is an inorganic non-metallic two-dimensional flake material. It has higher high-temperature durability (over 1200℃) and resistivity (more than 1000 times) than natural mica. It also has strong acid and alkali resistance, is transparent allowing it to be split and peeled, and has elasticity.
Synthetic mica has a wide range of applications and great market potential, extending to modern industries such as aerospace, metallurgy, electronics, chemical industry, textiles, cosmetics, plastic products, pigments, building materials, alternative energy, as well as advanced technology fields including defense, military industry, and nuclear power. The listing of synthetic mica is interpreted as a significant strategy to address the depletion of natural mica resources.
Synthetic mica materials are new types of materials with high research and development difficulty, added value, and technological barriers, resulting in supply shortages compared to demand. Crystal New Materials possesses not only complete core synthetic mica technologies but also dozens of invention patents related to synthetic mica.
Crystal New Materials introduced itself as a globally recognized company with core technology and R&D capabilities, and as a world-leading synthetic mica manufacturer, owning the world's largest production base capable of producing 30,000 tons of synthetic mica annually.
Previously, due to its contributions to synthetic mica technology and the industry, Crystal New Materials was selected in 2019 by the National Ministry of Public Credit as the responsible company for the "Industrial Foundation Construction Process" strategy emerging material?synthetic mica project.
