Vehicle Like a Bullet... Collision Accident at Changwon Seokjeon Intersection, Taxi Driver Also Dies
The death toll from the three-vehicle collision that occurred around 7:24 PM on the 5th at Seokjeon Intersection in Masanhwoin-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, has risen to two.
According to the Masan Eastern Police Station on the 7th, a taxi driver in his 70s who was seriously injured in the accident passed away on the morning of the 6th.
At the time, the taxi driven by Mr. A was driving in the wrong direction from the Sanbok Road side and, while turning left toward Seokjeon Intersection, collided with a passenger car that had started moving after receiving a signal, and then crashed into a city bus.
As a result of the accident, a passenger in his 50s, Mr. B, who was in the taxi, died on the day of the accident.
The bus driver in his 50s and three passengers, as well as the passenger car driver in his 50s and two passengers, sustained minor injuries to their heads and chests.

The police recovered the taxi’s black box, but the video storage device (chip) was damaged, so they have requested analysis of the Event Data Recorder (EDR) from the National Forensic Service.
