Jindo Police Station in Jeollanam-do (Chief Park Mi-young) announced on the 7th that it conducted a safety campaign to prevent traffic fatal accidents at the Jindo Terminal intersection.

On this day, more than 40 participants including Jindo Police, the Green Mothers' Association, and the Model Drivers' Association promoted safety rules such as obeying speed limits, following traffic signals, wearing seat belts, prohibiting illegal parking, and banning jaywalking, targeting vehicles and pedestrians during the morning commute.
In particular, continuous enforcement publicity regarding traffic violations was carried out on the LED electronic display boards installed in the area, and the traffic and local police plan to conduct publicity and intensive crackdowns at major intersections together with cooperative organizations.
Chief Park Mi-young stated, “We will strive to enhance facilities such as collaborative section enforcement with local governments to establish a safe traffic culture for the residents of Jindo-gun.”
