Man Wandering with a Weapon in Jinju Apprehended
At around 12:05 PM on the 5th, the identity of a man carrying a weapon and wandering near a construction site in an apartment area in Juyak-dong, Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, was revealed.
According to the Jinju Police Station, a woman in her 50s who was heading home spotted the man and reported him to the police.
Based on witness statements, the police mobilized all former detectives to analyze nearby CCTV footage and track the man, eventually finding him at the nearby construction site around 3:30 PM.
The man was identified as a construction site worker in his 40s, and it was confirmed that the knife he carried, used for cutting ropes at the site, did not fit the sheath size, so he was carrying it on his waist as is.
