Under the Slogan 'Sharing Together! Happy Journey with Seoul Metro Corporation!' Various Social Contribution Activities Planned
Seoul Metro Corporation (President Baek Ho) invited 65 children from vulnerable groups in the local community during the summer vacation on the 3rd, conducting various safety and train operator experiences at the Citizen Safety Experience Center in Banpo Station on Line 7.
This program was held twice on July 27 and August 3, from 2 PM to 5 PM, featuring a variety of experiential content.
The safety experience was conducted in a game format, receiving high praise from the children who participated in the first session on July 27. During the event, activities included a VR experience on subway fire evacuation procedures and a child-friendly game format using a CPR simulator. (Photo)
The event allowed children to easily and accurately learn CPR skills, which can be practically applied in real life. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to try a train operator experience using a train driving simulator, providing a chance to explore future career paths.
The corporation plans to continue various social contribution activities for different social groups and local communities under the slogan 'Sharing Together! Happy Journey with Seoul Metro Corporation!'
In the upcoming fall, ongoing social contribution activities are planned, including delivering traditional market gift certificates to welfare facilities affiliated with each headquarters, helping hands at rural sister villages, and collecting discarded vinyl sheets.
