Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is recruiting participants for the "Youth Singing and Dance Competition" until August 25.
The competition is open to elementary, middle, and high school students nationwide (born up to 2005) who are interested in singing and dancing. The final stage will take place at 2 PM on September 16 in front of Seongbuk-gu Office at Baram Madang.
Seongbuk-gu is hosting this event to discover hidden talents and skills among youth and to provide an opportunity for them to enjoy time with friends. The competition is divided into singing categories such as K-pop, rap, pop, and original songs, and dance categories including street, hip-hop, and broadcast dance. Duplicate participation is not allowed, so applicants must choose the category they are confident in, either singing or dancing.
After preliminary judging, 16 teams (8 teams per category) will be selected to advance to the final stage. Among them, 8 teams (4 teams per category) will receive the Seongbuk-gu Mayor’s Award and prize money totaling approximately 2.2 million KRW.
Applications are accepted from August 1 to August 25. Interested youth can download the application form from the Seongbuk-gu Office website, complete it, and submit it along with a preliminary video.
