Heineken Korea Appoints Michael Bainio as New CEO
Former Heineken Philippines CEO... Term Starts August 1
Heineken Korea announced on the 1st that it has appointed Michael Bainio, former CEO of Heineken Philippines, as its new CEO.
Michael Bainio has been serving as the CEO of Heineken Philippines since May 2021, where he is credited with expanding the Heineken brand portfolio and leading stable market growth. Prior to Heineken Philippines, he served as the General Manager for Kimberly-Clark in Singapore and the Philippines. He graduated from the prestigious IE Business School in Spain and has experience with companies such as Del Monte and Colgate, earning a reputation for his deep understanding of the Asian market.
CEO Bainio stated, “I will build a team to drive the growth of Heineken Korea and bring incomparable experiences to Korean consumers, getting closer to them.” He also added, “We will not neglect efforts to become a model corporate citizen in Korean society.”
