Additional Recruitment of 16 Households for Youth and Newlywed Rental Housing in Sinjeong 4-dong from 8/7 to 8/11 for 5 Days

Yangcheon-gu (District Mayor Lee Gijae) announced that, in collaboration with Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation, it will supply 16 customized community housing units to resolve housing instability issues for local youth and newlyweds, and will recruit tenants for five days starting August 7.
Applicants must be members of a household without home ownership registered in Seoul and meet the income requirement of 70% or less of the previous year's average monthly urban worker income. The youth housing applicants are unmarried job seekers and early career workers aged 19 to 39, while the newlywed housing is for couples married within 7 years or engaged couples.
The customized community housing is located in Sinjeong 4-dong (Omok-ro 23-gil 25 and three other addresses), recruiting a total of 16 households: 9 youth households and 7 newlywed households.
Youth housing consists of studio-type units with an exclusive area of 23 to 29㎡ (7 to 9 pyeong), and newlywed housing units have an exclusive area of 34 to 39㎡ (10 to 11 pyeong), comprising one bedroom, a living room combined with a kitchen, and a bathroom. Additionally, a 49.8㎡ community space is provided on the first floor of the housing to serve as a communication and exchange hub among residents. The rent for youth housing starts at a deposit of 11 million KRW with a monthly rent of 130,500 KRW, and for newlywed housing, a deposit of 14.87 million KRW with a monthly rent of 193,800 KRW.
Youth and newlywed applicants wishing to move in can apply by emailing the person in charge from August 7 to August 11. For more detailed information regarding the move-in, please refer to the announcement board on the district office website or contact the Housing Division.
The district will conduct document screening of applicants and select the final tenants by November, proceeding with lease contracts sequentially through Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation.

Lee Gijae, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, stated, “We are supplying 16 customized community housing units so that youth and newlyweds can lead happy lives through housing stability,” adding, “We will continue to expand housing welfare projects that meet the needs of various social groups to build a solid housing infrastructure.”
