Hwasun-gun, Advance Disaster Relief Payments for 3 Households Affected by Housing Flood Damage
Starting Next Month 4th, 3 Million Won Will Be Sequentially Paid Per Household
Hwasun County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 31st that it will promptly provide disaster relief funds to residents affected by house flooding caused by the heavy rain that began on June 25.
The county plans to advance 3 million KRW per household using contingency funds, as waiting to provide disaster relief funds after house restoration could delay the support timing.
There are three households with flooded houses, and the disaster relief funds will be paid sequentially starting from the 4th of next month after application.

A county official stated, “The average cumulative rainfall in the region since June 25 has reached 728.6 mm due to the heavy rain, and we hope that the advance payment of disaster relief funds will offer some comfort to the flood victims who are in distress.”
