Uiryeong-gun Completes Land Readjustment Projects in Four Districts Including Dongbon District
Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam, has completed the cadastral resurvey project for 553 parcels totaling 254,676.4㎡ in four districts, including Dongbon District in Uiryeong-eup, which has been promoted since 2021.
The cadastral resurvey project is a national project being promoted annually until 2030 to correct cadastral register entries of cadastral discrepancies that do not match the actual status of the land, and to convert paper-based cadastral maps into digital cadastral maps for efficient national land management and protection of citizens' property rights.
To promote the cadastral resurvey project in four districts including Dongbon District, the county established an implementation plan, obtained consent from more than two-thirds of landowners and two-thirds of the land area, and designated the project area. Then, cadastral resurvey surveying was conducted, landowners’ opinions were collected, and administrative procedures such as review by the boundary determination committee and objection submissions were carried out.
The boundaries of land in 78 parcels (15,279.5㎡) in Dongbon District, Uiryeong-eup; 109 parcels (36,696.7㎡) in Subu District, Chilgok-myeon; 91 parcels (33,513.4㎡) in Yongdeokjukjeon 1 District, Yongdeok-myeon; and 275 parcels (169,186.8㎡) in Un-gye 1 District, Gungnyu-myeon were finalized, and new cadastral registers such as land registers and cadastral maps were completed.

The county plans to organize registry copies, building registers, and land use planning maps in the future, and to collect and pay adjustment fees to landowners for parcels where area increases or decreases occurred due to the cadastral resurvey project.
