Meal + Movie Viewing... All Seats Recliners
Opening Commemorative Discount Event Until the 13th
Jeju Shinhwa World announced on the 31st that it will open the premium cinema 'JSW Cine Lounge' on the 3rd of next month.
JSW Cine Lounge is a premium cinema jointly launched by Jeju Shinhwa World and Monoplex, a provider of consumer-tailored cinema solutions, marking the first of its kind in Jeju Island. It is also the first case in Korea to open a premium cinema as a permanent facility within a complex resort.
Opening with a total of 2 theaters and 36 seats, JSW Cine Lounge features all recliner seats. The sound system by premium audio brand 'Harman' is applied to enhance immersion.
Combining cinema and dining, guests can enjoy dishes crafted by hotel chefs while watching movies. The dining packages are offered in two options: the 'Panini Movie Package' and the 'Sushi Movie Package.' For those who do not wish to dine, the 'Basic Movie Package,' which includes only popcorn and drinks, is available. The Basic Movie Package is priced in the high 20,000 KRW range. Simple snacks such as hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos can also be purchased separately on-site. Children's movies, such as animations, can be enjoyed at a more affordable price with the 'Children's Movie Package.'
Jeju Shinhwa World stated, "Although general multiplex movie tickets have soared past 10,000 KRW due to ticket price increases, JSW Cine Lounge offers a reasonable price with recliner seats and snacks included at around 20,000 KRW, and meals (sushi) included at around 40,000 KRW." They added, "Another strength is that each theater consists of 18 seats, allowing for a private viewing experience." They also plan to operate rental services for small gatherings and events that require large screens.
There will also be an opening discount event. The Basic Movie Package, which includes popcorn and drinks, will be offered at a 50% discount from the 3rd to the 6th, and a 10,000 KRW discount from the 9th to the 13th. The screenings include 'The Moon,' 'Mission: Impossible ? Dead Reckoning PART ONE,' 'Smuggling,' and 'Unofficial Operation,' which can be booked through the Jeju Shinhwa World website and the Monoplex application (app).
A representative from Jeju Shinhwa World said, "Jeju Shinhwa World is establishing itself as a complex cultural space rich with various genres of entertainment, beyond just accommodation for travelers," adding, "It will become a community platform that satisfies the cultural needs of both travelers and local residents."
