Lotte Hotel Group HQ Donates Relief Supplies for Heatwave Preparedness to Vulnerable Groups
On the 31st, Lotte Hotel Group HQ announced that it had delivered 800 heatwave relief supplies worth 50 million KRW to vulnerable groups through the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association.
As the heatwave continues nationwide with heatwave warnings issued, Lotte Hotel Group HQ used part of the 100 million KRW donation it made to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association on the 20th of last month to produce heatwave relief supplies.
The supplies consist of 13 items, including single-layer blankets, heat cooling sheets, and cool scarves to lower the perceived temperature in summer, daily necessities such as mosquito repellents and wet wipes, and health-conscious items for vulnerable groups such as probiotics, fruit syrup, and ion drinks. From the 20th to the 28th, the relief supplies were delivered to vulnerable groups through 15 senior welfare centers nationwide selected by the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association.
Lee Sang-jin, Head of Marketing at Lotte Hotel Group HQ, said, “With the rainy season over and the full-scale heatwave continuing, we judged that support for vulnerable groups is urgent, so we decided to provide relief supplies. Going forward, Lotte Hotel Group will continue to share the love received from customers with local communities and fulfill its social responsibilities.”
