A man in his 30s arrested for causing the death of an acquaintance during an online game... 'Assault during an argument'
On the 30th, the Yeosu Police Station in Jeollanam-do booked A (30) without detention on charges of causing death by injury after hitting a man he met while playing an online game with a stone.
A is accused of hitting B (31) multiple times with a stone at a rest area for drowsy drivers on a car-only road in Yeosu City around 11:40 p.m. the previous day, causing B's death.
The two, who met through an online game, reportedly got into a verbal dispute over debts such as game money and then assaulted each other. After B died, A directly reported the incident to the police and was transported to a nearby hospital but is currently unconscious.
