A Sitting Judge Caught Engaging in Prostitution While on a Business Trip to Seoul
An active judge was caught by the police for engaging in prostitution.
The Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 29th that they have sent Judge A (42), who works at a local court, to the prosecution without detention on charges of violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Prostitution.
According to the police, Judge A is accused of paying 150,000 won to a woman in her 30s, Ms. B, whom he met through an application (app) at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 4 p.m. on the 22nd of last month, in exchange for prostitution.

The police apprehended Ms. B at the hotel around 6 p.m. on the same day and identified Judge A, who had already left the hotel, leading to his booking. During the police investigation, Judge A reportedly stated that he was in Seoul for a work-related business trip at the time.
