Hyosung Invites Korean War Veterans in the U.S., "Thank You for Your Noble Sacrifice"
Hyosung announced on the 28th that on the 27th (local time), it held a gratitude event inviting more than 30 U.S. veterans who participated in the Korean War and about 150 family members and related personnel at the U.S. Army Materiel Command located in Huntsville, Alabama. View original imageThe event, which began with a congratulatory speech by Brigadier General Kane Baker of the U.S. Army Futures Command, was graced by the presence of several retired generals with experience in Korea, including Lieutenant General Dan Petrosky, former commander of the U.S. Eighth Army in South Korea.
Jongbok Lee, President of Hyosung USA, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Seventy years ago, through the noble sacrifices of America’s precious sons and daughters, the free Republic of Korea exists today. Thanks to their noble sacrifices, Korea has become a leading nation in Asia, and currently, the Hyosung Group provides over 1,500 jobs in the U.S. through six subsidiaries."
