Starfield Partners with Gyeonggi Fire Department to Support Disaster-Vulnerable Groups
Joining the 'Warm Companionship Gyeonggi 119' Initiative
Shinsegae Property announced on the 28th that it has signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Promotion of Community Welfare and the Spread of Fire Safety Culture' with the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters to support disaster-vulnerable groups.
The signing ceremony was held individually on the 27th at Starfield Hanam, Goyang, Anseong, Starfield City Wirye, Bucheon, and their respective fire stations.
According to this MOU, Shinsegae Property will participate in the love-sharing project 'Warm Companion Gyeonggi 119' promoted by Gyeonggi Fire, supporting disaster-vulnerable groups. Warm Companion Gyeonggi 119 is a hope-sharing project where Gyeonggi-do firefighters and volunteer firefighters voluntarily contribute 1,190 KRW daily to create a disaster relief fund.

The funds will be distributed to those in urgent need of assistance due to economic difficulties caused by disasters or illnesses or those in welfare blind spots, following a fair review by the fire stations and the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.

The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will contribute to disaster prevention and prompt response in emergencies by conducting fire safety consulting, fire safety education, and training within Starfield business sites through this agreement.
