Gwangjin-gu Operates Advisory Support Group for Housing Maintenance Projects
Customized Advisory Services Launched in Full Swing to Revitalize Maintenance Projects!
30 Experts Including Architects and Lawyers Appointed to Provide Advisory Support by Field
Roles Include Establishing Maintenance Plans and Resolving Disputes... Residents Anticipate Revitalization
Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) formed a Housing Maintenance Project Advisory Support Group on the 27th to revitalize housing maintenance projects.
Due to the recent lack of understanding of new project methods such as Rapid Integrated Planning and Moa Housing, as well as the complexity of procedures, it was judged that there would be difficulties in project promotion. Therefore, the advisory support group will operate to provide advisory services to enable smoother and easier project implementation.
The advisory support group is divided into the Rapid Promotion Support Team and the Resident Communication Support Team. The Rapid Promotion Support Team acts as a lubricant to help projects proceed smoothly by reviewing project development plans tailored to local characteristics and holding resident briefings, while the Resident Communication Support Team mediates conflicts and disputes among residents, interprets complex laws, and proposes mediation plans for disagreements and complaints with stakeholders.
The main tasks of the advisory group include ▲advising on rapid integrated planning for drafting maintenance plans ▲advising on the appropriateness of net burden for maintenance infrastructure and public facilities, as well as ▲mediating disputes between union members and reconstruction stakeholders ▲resolving disputes such as collective complaints related to maintenance project promotion.
The district expects that operating this advisory support group will greatly assist the housing redevelopment project in the area of Jayang 4-dong 57-90, where a rapid integrated planning maintenance plan (draft) is being prepared, and will coordinate opinions through advisory services to prevent project delays in case of conflicts or complaints among residents.
Advisory applications can be submitted along with consent forms from at least 10% of landowners or union members within the project promotion area. For other inquiries, contact the Housing Project Division.
The appointment ceremony was attended by Mayor Kim Kyung-ho, Advisory Support Group Leader Choi Won-seok, and about 30 experts and officials from fields such as urban planning, architecture, and law.
The advisory committee members’ term is two years.
