Muan Police Hold Regular Meeting of Security Advisory Council
Support for the Stable Settlement of North Korean Defectors
Muan Police Station (Chief Kim Jeong-wan) announced on the 26th that it held a regular Security Advisory Council meeting to support the stable settlement of North Korean defectors, attended by about 30 people including the police chief, department heads, and the Security Advisory Council on the 25th.

At the regular council meeting, there was a time for communication to revitalize community policing with cooperative organizations, covering major security activities of Muan Police Station, matters related to the protection and support of North Korean defectors, and activities of security police.
Kim Jeong-wan, chief of Muan Police Station, said, “We will do our best to create a better Muan through meticulous security activities tailored to the residents' perspective, emphasizing the role of the police amid rapidly changing security environments.”
